Anathema ... At last!

Tue Sep 8, 2009, 3:51 PM
Anathema live at Malmö
6th September 2009

The night of 6th September ’09 would be one of the nights I won’t forget for the years to come. The night I met my mentors! A month before I came to know from a social friend on the internet that Anathema would be starting their Scandinavian tour soon and I should see their schedule. I decided that the time has come and instantly booked myself a reservation at the nearest city they were performing. Luckily it was their kick starting performance on the tour which obviously means more energy and more new thing to see from them before they leak out on the internet. And I was not disappointed. Show started with a couple of performances by guest touring artist Leaf Blade from Uk. Anathema took the stage with a big bang. Daniel Cavanagh hoped to the stage forst and stared playing THE SILENT ENIGMA and at the moment of impact; the rest of the crew took to the stage. I managed to catch their opening track on my poor quality digi cam (EMPTY and BALANCE @ [link]). But I did got some quality stills on my other camera (for a sneak peek @ [link]). Being standing in the front row and touching the stage has its own enigma. I was lucky to get hold of their official setlist at the end of the event because of it (avaliable @ [link]). The song list was like

Intro: The Silent Enigma
Empty
Balance
Closer
Lost Control
Angels Walk Among Us
Deep
Oceans (Mistake)
Temproary Peace
Judgement (Full Version)
Eternity Part 3
Hope
A Fine Day to Exit
Flying
Are You There
One Last Goodbye
Universal (Sombre)
Sleepless
Hindsight
Shroud of False
Fragile Dreams.

YES !!
Can you believe it. A packed performance of their 21 pieces. They performed these 21 songs for the crowd Vincent Cavanagh referenced as (something like) “small but fabulous in creating an atmosphere that tells us how loved we are.” And with a delight treat of a new song UNIVERSAL from their upcoming album which was absolutely mind blowing. Before performing this song Daniel Cavanagh said that (something like) “This is the first time we are performing this and it like the best song we have written; actually written by John which is truly amazing. It would be on out next upcoming album but we don’t really give it a fuck so enjoy.” On this Vincent said that referring to Daniel “he always had this thing to build up something great and fucks up in the last. Enjoy”.

I just can’t pick any single song of them I enjoyed the most because for me it a complete mayhem from start till the end. I was not able to keep the track of the time like how it started and when it ended. Before I even knew it ended; I just had the 3 most mesmerized hours of my life!

I surely be adding some of the best picture here on dA later but for the time being am so stuck in deadlines and courses; have to meet them and will get back to them ASAP!

Gibberish Bibberish.

Once upon a time a fat wise guy with a flat nose and small pair of unfolded eyes said that

"Things that are done, it is needless to speak about; things that are past it is needless to blame".

But the fat guy did missed out pretty important things. :hmm: For a starter like; How to deal with the shit created in the process later! He should have thought something about it as well and wrote it down on his banana leaves or carved it into stones whatever. Things would had been a little simple if one did possessed some Sookie type physic powers to read people minds (Ref: Sookie from True Blood) and things would have been different now. Sticking to reality; it would not be the case now. But on the other hand sometimes we are not even able to read my own mind; let alone peeking into others. We ourselves at times are not aware and not control of our mind; or should say our mind is unable to control us. And as a conclusion we end up semi floating; half down in shit, which we shouldn't necessarily be doing if we had gone through every thing at least consulting from our own mind. But no! how could we? After all the emo crap we feed out selves from the tubes; to the melodies in which we so easily get lost ending up day dreaming and so; intoxicating our bodies, making the heart overpowering the mind and giving it up to everything. After all this is what we humans are good at.

This Is Life!

Thu Aug 20, 2009, 5:44 PM
Sometime things happen when you don't anticipate them to happen; And then at times when you want things to happen, they just don't. It all about to be in the right place at the right time and play the right moves. If you mess with a single thing; BAM!! things can be of the track!! & you wont just get a clue; and this is life!

But something really shitty happens; and you know there is no way to fix it and you have to live with it for your life!! And no matter how bad it can be but you are confident enough that it is what it was meant to be ... You can't do nothing more but to turn into a stone and pretend you don't feel anything!
