Eyes on you

I have my eyes on you. Secretly you hide things from me not letting them show on the surface. But you are a human. You eventually succumb to the pain and let out a scream every now and then. I can see the rot right across from under your skin. I can see a dark abyss right inside you. You need not to hide it from me. Can I help you? Or can anyone help you? I see it’s all written “No” on your face; a kind of discontent in your eyes. Hold on to that! You are becoming stronger. You don’t need me or for that matter anyone else. One step at a time. One dark night after another. And that discontent will change to hope. And hope will change to atonement. Atonement to forgiveness and forgiveness to rebirth. And that my friend will be a whole new day. And then I will bid you goodbye. And I will pray we don’t meet again.
